St Albans Chamber International Women’s Day Lunch

Yesterday I attended the inspirational Women’s day lunch with around 100 local businesswomen. I love being in a room with this much energy and drive, made extra special as the majority were women. My mum would have called them “women of substance!”

The keynote speaker, Captain Emma Henderson was an airline pilot and a rarity! There are more endangered Bengal tigers in the world than female airline pilots! It was an inspiring speech, and she is without doubt a powerful role model.

The event focused on issues around striving to create an equitable world, free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, both thought provoking and enlightening. Thank you so much Pat Strods and Cheryl Luzet for arranging a very memorable event!
