Logistics Coordinator | Hertford | £25k-£30k
We are recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a fast-growing business with a welcoming family-feel environment, based in Hertford.
Working closely with the Operations team, you will take full ownership of their warehouse and stores, playing a key position in shaping the future of their operations as they scale.
You will play a crucial role in managing supply chains, coordinating shipments, and ensuring seamless delivery processes.

Key responsibilities:
Monitoring supply chains and shipments to ensure timely deliveries
Engaging in regular communication with clients, providing updates throughout the shipping process and liaising with suppliers for required information
Processing export documentation to ensure smooth international deliveries
Coordinating schedules for shipments in the UK and overseas, handling documentation, invoices, and packing goods while liaising with business stakeholders
Processing returns, managing customer and supplier correspondence, and ensuring accurate credit processes for both the company and clients
Maintaining accurate and consistent records, ensuring the CRM is updated with current information
Identifying and resolving errors promptly, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 quality standards and implementing processes to prevent repeat issues
Stock management, including booking in goods, monitoring stock levels, and minimising aged stock for the business
Ensuring accuracy of orders and shipping documents, preventing errors in the delivery process
Monitoring due dates for orders, ensuring deadlines are met for both customer and service department needs
Processing job stock issues for the service department, ensuring parts are prepared for engineers to collect efficiently
What the employer is looking for:
2+ years of similar experience within a logistics or operations role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software
Self-motivated and determined with a strong sense of personal initiative
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Enthusiastic and hardworking
Comfortable with dogs in the office
